Brandon Durham, a Las Vegas Father, Was Tragically Killed in a Police Shooting After Calling 911 for HELP

This is yet another case of a police officer shooting someone for absolutely no reason.

A cop recently shot and killed a father who had called 911 for help, instead of targeting the home invader who broke into his house.

This case might sound familiar because it is similar to the case of Sonya Massey.

Forty-three-year-old Brandon Durham, reportedly a father and realtor, was killed by a police officer in his own home in Las Vegas on November 12th.

This happened after Brandon called 911 to report a violent home invasion.

His family is now speaking out. In the early hours of Tuesday, November 12th, at around 12:40 AM, Brandon called 911 to report that two individuals were shooting into his home and trying to break in.

He was reportedly inside with his 15-year-old daughter.

A few minutes into the call, Brandon informed the dispatcher that the suspects had successfully entered his home through both the front and back doors. He then stated that he would lock himself in the bathroom.

After Brandon’s call, three officers arrived at the scene, including 26-year-old Alexander Bookman, who ultimately shot and killed Brandon.

Upon arriving, the officers noticed damage to the windows of the home and the vehicles parked in the driveway. They also reportedly heard screaming and banging noises coming from inside.

Officer Alexander kicked the door open and was the first to enter the house. As he moved deeper into the home, he saw Brandon and the suspect struggling over a knife in a doorway. The suspect was identified as 31-year-old Alejandra Boudreaux.

Earlier, Brandon had told the 911 dispatcher that two suspects had broken into his home, but only Alejandra was identified by police.

Officer Alexander ordered both Brandon and the suspect to drop their weapons. About a second later, Alexander fired his gun, hitting Brandon, causing both Brandon and the suspect to fall to the ground.

Body cam footage reportedly shows what happened next. While Brandon was lying motionless on the floor, Alexander fired several more shots, ultimately shooting Brandon a total of six times.

Despite attempts by responders to save his life, Brandon died at the scene.

The suspect, Alejandra, was taken into custody and charged with home invasion with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, child abuse/neglect or endangerment, and willful disregard for the safety of others resulting in death.

Investigators now believe that Brandon and Alejandra knew each other, suggesting this was not a random act of violence.

Authorities have said they are still in the early stages of the investigation. Despite Brandon’s 911 call reporting gunfire inside the home, no firearms were recovered from the scene, only two knives.

Brandon’s 15-year-old daughter, Isabella, was inside the home during the incident. Following her father’s death, she spoke out, expressing disgust with the Metropolitan Police.

She stated that the violence in their home was caused by someone who was extremely angry and violent, but she was appalled at how the police treated her father. She said they told him to “stay down” after shooting him, treating him as though he were the suspect when, in fact, he was the victim.

Isabella said she is disgusted with the Metropolitan Police for leaving her fatherless for the rest of her life.

Brandon’s partner, Rachel Gore, described as being like a wife to him, blamed the tragedy on a lack of police training. She also claimed Brandon’s death was influenced by the color of his skin.

Brandon has been described as a realtor, a chef, and a wonderful father. He also had a 13-year-old stepson. He was a loving family man who provided a happy and stable life for his loved ones. His untimely death has left a void in their lives.

Call this what it is; murder.

The cop murdered the home owner. It wasn’t a tragic death.
