Real Madrid Boycott Ballon d’Or Ceremony

Real Madrid is pissed with the Ballon d’Or, and so am I and it’s about time. So this is what they’re saying at the club “if the criteria for the award didn’t clear Vini JR as the winner, the same criteria should award Carvajal for the winner”, which in my opinion very.

If you compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, wouldn’t it make sense that Carvajal wins the Ballon d’Or with everything he has won last season. Lets break it down for everyone reading this:

He was also named MOTM in the Champions League final.

I know Rodri is a great player, this is no disrespect to Rodri and this isn’t his fault. He’s a phenomenal player but i think many of us will agree that Vini is being robbed. So if by that criteria Carvajal also doesn’t win I think Real Madrid made a good decision not going to the ceremony.
